One of the most fascinating things about International Free & Accepted Modern Masons, Inc. (IFAMM) and Order of the Eastern Star (OES) is your ability to visit brothers and sisters wherever we have a presence and mutual recognition by another Masonic Order. There are some Masonic and Eastern Star Orders that only allow their members to travel and visit within the State, we believe if you are a member in Atlanta, that membership has the same weight in Miami or wherever we have a presence.

IFAMM is a voluntary, fraternal organization, composed of men and women of good will, good character, and good reputation. We act as a charitable, fraternal, educational, social and character building Religious Fraternal Society. As a member, you must be loyal to the country where your membership is and devote time to the principles of friendship and fellowship. Your focus must also be to be of service to all humanity, regardless of socioeconomic status.

Our objective is to unify the most intelligent persons of the community and objective of Freemasonry – promoting the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man, in an alliance against ignorance and evil which is the common enemy of all mankind.

We are a charitable institution operated solely for the mutual benefit of the members and their beneficiaries, and not for profit. We fraternally unite all healthy persons of good moral character, from every profession, business or occupation in promoting a higher degree of fellowship, while adhering to the best Christian practices and principles.

Any healthy male at least 21 years of age shall be eligible to submit a petition for Masonic membership, and any healthy female at least 21 years of age shall be eligible to submit a petition for membership into the Order of the Eastern Star. All such petitions will be passed on to a Lodge or Chapter in the area in which they seek to become a member, and the process and manner for receiving members will be followed. Each Lodge/Chapter has an intake process by which petitioners are interviewed, investigated and brought in. We adhere to a NO HAZING policy within our Order, so no hurt or harm will be done to you during the intake process.
